Programs
Meetings, Tours, and Art-Focused Conversations
The Cultural Arts Center is a multi-use facility, and ideal as as meeting space, retreat venue, tour spot and discussion host. Our galleries, gathering spaces and studios – all of them accessible – are great spaces for discussion, education and performance.
Conversations & Coffee
Our Conversations & Coffee art talk series is one of our flagship programs at the Cultural Arts Center. These weekly discussions, taking place each Thursday from noon to 1 p.m., cover a wide variety of topics connected to the art world in a casual, relaxed setting. Often related to exhibitions on display in our galleries, our Conversations & Coffee discussions have been going on for more than 35 years. Bring your lunch to the CAC, and let us provide the coffee and insight. Admission is free!
Meetings & Outside Organizations
The Cultural Arts Center is a great space for retreats, training sessions, meetings and more. Arrange an off-site meeting for your team or bring your group to regular meetings in one of our spaces for a setting highly conducive to creative and productive discussion. We also host regular meetings, usually open to the public, of local arts organizations, such as the Calligraphy Guild of Columbus and the Ohio Writers’ Guild.
Tours
Learn more about our galleries, studio space and historic architecture by arranging a tour of our building! We can organize tours of individual aspects, or of the entire facility, for groups of up to 25 people. Tours are usually about an hour in length and will go in-depth on:
- The exhibitions in our gallery spaces
- The artists who contribute to our exhibits
- The capabilities of our studio spaces
- The types of classes we offer
- The history of the CAC
- The history of our 150-year-old building
