Artist in Residence

The AiR program focuses on three main pillars: NATURE, WELLNESS, and CREATIVITY. Proposed projects by applicants who focus on one or more of these 3 pillars will be considered for funding. Diversity and Inclusion is a core focus of the City of Columbus and the Cultural Arts Center.

Residency #1: August 30-Dec 18, 2025

Residency #2: April 20-August 22, 2026

Call for both residencies:   

Opens:  May 2, 2025 – 9:00 am         Closes: June 13, 2025 – 5:00 pm

Announcements: August 1, 2025

City of Columbus employees are NOT eligible for this residency.
Only individuals may apply for this residency – no teams, groups, etc.
You MUST be a resident of Franklin County, Ohio.
