Artist in Residence

The AiR program focuses on three main pillars: NATURE, WELLNESS, and CREATIVITY. Proposed projects by applicants who focus on one or more of these 3 pillars will be considered for funding. Diversity and Inclusion is a core focus of the City of Columbus and the Cultural Arts Center.

Important Dates:

Residency #1: August 31-Dec 20, 2026

Residency #2: February 22-June 19, 2027

Call for new residencies:   

Call open: May 22, 2026

Call closes: June 27, 2026

Announce finalists: August 3, 2026

City of Columbus employees are NOT eligible for this residency.
Only individuals may apply for this residency – no teams, groups, etc.
You MUST be a resident of Franklin County, Ohio.
